Account Deletion

Overview

You can permanently delete your TALK account at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, messages, and all associated data from our platform. This action is irreversible — once confirmed, your account cannot be recovered.

Please read through this page carefully before proceeding, including what data gets deleted and what alternatives are available to you.

Before You Delete

Deleting your account will permanently remove:

• Your profile, display name, and profile picture
• All posts, comments, and reactions you have made
• Your direct messages and chat history
• Your marketplace listings and shop
• Your saved items, followers, and following list
• Your Horizon activity and opportunities
• All account settings and preferences

How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps inside the TALK app to permanently delete your account:

   Sign in to your account

   Open the TALK app and sign in with your registered email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen.

   Navigate to your profile

   Once logged in, tap your profile icon or avatar to open your profile page.

   Open Settings

   Tap the settings icon located just below your profile picture to access your account settings.

   Select "Delete Account"

   Scroll down within settings and tap Delete Account. This option is typically found at the bottom of the settings menu.

   Confirm deletion

   A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete your account. Tap Confirm to permanently delete your account. This action cannot be reversed.

What Happens After Deletion

• Your account is deactivated immediately upon confirmation.
• You will be logged out of all devices instantly.
• Your profile will no longer be visible to other users.
• All your personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
• Some anonymized data (such as aggregated usage statistics) may be retained as required by law or for platform integrity purposes.
• Any active marketplace listings will be removed within the same period.

Alternatives to Deletion

If you are not ready to permanently delete your account, consider these options instead:

• Take a break: Simply log out of the app. Your account and data remain safely stored and you can return at any time.
• Disable notifications: Turn off all notifications in Settings if the app feels overwhelming.
• Contact support: If you are experiencing a specific issue, our team can help resolve it quickly without losing your account.
